First and foremost, I realise that there are people out there who have a gambling problem. These people do not have to discipline to play poker or for that matter, speculate and place money on any event. They must completely stop doing this for the rest of their life as this is the only cure. It is good that Stephen is trying to help people do this but the way in which he is doing this is immoral.
Below is a copy of an email that I personally emailed Stephen:
I did not expect a reply as the lies the he is spreading has been shown with the information I provided in the email. He did however reply, and did not even bother trying to address the points I mentioned:
Michael - You are incorrect.
And in any event, I don't have the time to respond to you privately.
If you want to post your views, post them at http://p098.ezboard.com/fnomorepokerfrm2

Stephen Katz
It is completely immoral to sell books and make money from lies. I believe that Stephen also makes the fantastic claim that you can not make money from the stock market. I have a first class hons in accounting and finance and I also completely understand the game of poker, having consistently made money over the years. It is by no means easy. Can Stephen please answer the question as to how certain sites such as www.officialpokerrankings.com track all players results regarding tournaments entered etc, and show who the winning players and losing players are. A good friend of mine has solely played tournament poker for a living for the past 6 years and is a consistent winner.
I do not for one minute want to get ex gamblers back into poker if they have had a problem. I would hate that to happen. The problem is not poker, the problem is the individual's character, therefore they would never be able to win at the game and must stop.
My problem is the lies that Stephen Katz is putting out there, and earning money from this.
